Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor enters a name, place, or other term in a search tool, the query is transmitted to the third-party company that operates that tool. Buchanan County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact-form message, we retain the message and contact details as needed to respond. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine server and analytics records may collect the following technical details when a page loads:

Some advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across different websites for interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs under the provider’s practices, not as a Buchanan County Released Inmates record.
